  • Payroll Security Platform

Week of Jul 27 · Payments pipeline takes shape

The money-movement build reached its first end-to-end pass: pay runs now flow from payroll into the isolated payment environment, where an operations queue tracks each run and a new anomaly engine screens every deposit against each person's payment history before anything moves. In the core platform, a new data-access scoping layer gives admins per-domain control over exactly what each role can see, and quarterly tax forms now report opted-out state and local wages correctly.

    • Pay runs flow into the isolated payment environment — integrity-verified on receipt, tracked in an operations queue
    • A payment-anomaly engine screens every deposit against each person's history; anything unusual is held for human review
    • The bank-file (NACHA) engine — built in-house, backed by an exhaustive test suite
    • Per-domain data-access scoping — admins control which data each role can reach, domain by domain
    • Quarterly tax forms report opted-out state and local wages correctly
  • Standalone RMS
    Payroll RMS Security

Week of Jul 20 · Custom pay-grid columns + live church sync

Pay grids became customizable — admins can add their own columns to payroll views — and a new No Wages option keeps tax details accurate when a tax applies but no wages were paid. The relationship-management platform connected to a live Rock RMS environment for the first time, syncing data end to end through the new pipeline. And the defense-in-depth push kept rolling: every self-service surface is scoped to exactly its audience, with build-time guards that enforce that scoping on every future endpoint.

    • Custom pay-grid columns — tailor payroll views with the fields your organization needs
    • No Wages handling on tax details, aligned with the opt-out switch
    • First end-to-end sync from a Rock RMS environment into the standalone relationship-management platform
    • Self-service data scoped to owner, leader, or HR — with scope declarations enforced automatically at build time
  • Money Movement Build
    Payroll RMS Security

Week of Jul 13 · Two roadmap builds begin

Two of the roadmap's biggest initiatives moved from design into build. The money-movement platform now has its own hardened home — private networking, Microsoft sign-in as the front door, and hardware-key step-up for sensitive actions. And a new relationship-management platform took shape in its own dedicated environment, where the church's data stays under the church's governance — with Rock RMS as the first connected system.

    • Money movement: an isolated, security-first environment stood up — private networking, Microsoft sign-in front door, sessions that lock themselves when idle
    • Relationship management: standalone tooling in its own isolated environment, with the church in control of who has access
    • Payroll register PDFs paginate correctly — no more employees clipped at page bottoms
    • State-by-state extra-withholding entries post cleanly; quarterly form employee counts corrected
    • An automated regression suite now sweeps payroll math and permission rules on demand
  • Security Platform Payroll

Week of Jul 6 · Defense in depth

A platform-wide defense-in-depth push began: every service call is authenticated end to end, authorization is enforced at every layer of the stack, and the audit trail stamps organization context on every event. Onboarding document handling got sturdier too. And ground was broken on the money-movement initiative from the roadmap — a purpose-built, isolated environment where payroll funds will move.

  • Onboarding Security Platform

    Week of Jun 29 · Counter-signing + one codebase

Document signing rounded out: HR counter-signing on the Documents page, signed state tax forms that write their elections back into withholding, and cleaner W-9 handling. Behind the scenes, the platform's feature work and its tenant-isolation layer came together onto a single codebase, with every accounting action individually permission-gated.

  • Accounting Onboarding Clergy

Week of Jun 22 · Sage people sync + document signing

The Sage Intacct connection deepened: a new Map People screen reconciles employees and vendors between the platform and Sage, profile changes now sync across automatically, and expense reimbursements from Sage appear on the dashboard and each employee's Expenses page. Document e-signing grew too — supplemental state tax forms, manager-side I-9 completion, and clergy document handling.

    • Map People — reconcile employees and vendors between the platform and Sage Intacct, with search and auto-match
    • Employee profile changes sync to Sage automatically, with a centralized audit of everything sent
    • Expense reimbursements pulled from Sage, with a vendor-search preview and aging view
    • E-signing: supplemental state tax forms, manager I-9 Section 2, and clergy housing write-back on designated documents
  • Accounting Security

Week of Jun 15 · Accounting integration, rebuilt

The accounting integration was rebuilt end to end: a new guided Configuration workspace takes admins from chart of accounts to mapping rules to a live test preview, and journal entries now post directly to Sage Intacct — with the chart of accounts importable straight from Sage. Underneath, sensitive fields gained a new layer of encryption, and fine-grained permission checks govern every payroll, onboarding, and admin action.

    • New accounting Configuration workspace — guided setup from chart of accounts through mapping rules, with a live preview that tests mappings against real pay-run data
    • Import your chart of accounts directly from Sage Intacct; post journal entries straight to Sage, with dry-run validation first
    • Durable, auditable posting — every action leaves a full trail and recovers cleanly from any interruption
    • Field-level encryption for sensitive data, protected by a layered key hierarchy
    • Fine-grained permission checks on every payroll, onboarding, and admin action
