    Retention stopped being a policy document and became a property of the data layer: records inside the six-year window cannot be deleted, and the enforcement inventory that proves it is the same artifact an auditor reads. Any payment can be reproduced by trace number or date range, the transaction codes actually originated are reportable, and batch headers derive from the originator registry rather than from whatever the payload happened to carry. In the core platform, an organization chart landed and W-2 box reservation keeps retirement amounts from being displaced.

Returns from the bank are ingested and matched to what was sent; notifications of change are ingested, forwarded and applied, and the next payment to a receiver whose correction is still outstanding is held — the receiver, not the whole run. Exposure ceilings hold across every window containing a settlement date and fail closed when one was never set, an originator registry governs what each client may originate, and every audit row now names what acted.

    Sensitive fields are encrypted at the field level, with managed key storage and a local-key path so a service can still run where a managed vault is not reachable. The retirement pages moved under the compensation data domain and carry abilities of their own, and pay-run import now validates an entire sheet before it writes a single row. In the money-movement build, the governance library came online inside the payment environment itself — policies, technical documentation and control diagrams served where the controls actually live.

    Standing up a new client is the slowest part of moving a ministry onto the platform, so this week went to making it bulk work. A guided import suite groups the work by setup stage and covers employees, contractors, security officers, the flat-rate lists and historical pay runs — each with a template generated for that specific client, with dropdowns drawn from their own records rather than a generic sheet. A full year of pay periods now generates from the payroll profile instead of being typed in row by row.

    Quarterly federal payroll tax filing landed, alongside retirement contribution forecasting that understands statutory limits and catch-up eligibility. Underneath both, a standing permission-regression programme came online: every role is swept directly from the database and each result is attributable to the role that produced it, so a permission change cannot quietly widen what someone can reach. Time entry gained segregation of duties, and contractor and security-officer hours now price by how their pay profile actually bills.

    Whether a person can see an amount is now decided by the server, not the screen. Money visibility reads from the ability system and masks by the menu that owns the value, which means it holds identically on pay stubs, salary history, pay-run grids, exported files and the audit trail — anywhere the number could otherwise have surfaced. Organization boundaries are enforced at the point of write rather than corrected afterwards, and the bulk importers were rebuilt around per-client templates that draw their options from the client's own records.

In the money-movement build, pay runs gained an operations queue where each one can be resolved, held or released, and the bank-file engine generates a run's file only once an explicit release gate opens.

And the defense-in-depth push kept rolling: every self-service surface is scoped to exactly its audience, with build-time guards that enforce that scoping on every future endpoint.

    Two of the roadmap's biggest initiatives moved from design into build. The money-movement platform now has its own hardened home — private networking, Microsoft sign-in as the front door, and hardware-key step-up for sensitive actions. And a new relationship-management platform took shape in its own dedicated environment, where the church's data stays under the church's governance — with Rock RMS as the first connected system.
